If you’re anything like me you’ll hate looking for sports bras for large breasts because the choice of large size bras is so limited…or at least it used to be. Recently the variety of sportswear generally has grown and there seems to have been a real acceptance that even women with large breasts want to take exercise.
Running, in particular, used to be an horrendous experience without a properly supportive sports bra but since the introduction of new technology and fabrics, even the larger chested lady can jog and even jump up and down whilst feeling secure and comfortable.
Just make sure the check a few things before you buy:
- Always try your bra on before you buy or make sure you can return it if bought online.
- Never go for the pull-over head kind of sports bra as they just wont have enough support for larger breasts.
- Make sure the straps are wide enough and the bra covers the whole of the breast area.
- Look out for Lycra and underwired bras which offer greater support.
